Prep Time 8 minutes mins
Total Time 8 minutes mins
- ¾ cup Low-fat Plain Greek Yogurt approx. 170g, preferably 2% milkfat
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ¾ cup Low-sugar Whole-grain Granola (approx. 75g; choose a variety with nuts and minimal added sugar)
- ¾ cup Mixed Berries approx. 110g; fresh or frozen and thawed - e.g., blueberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries
- 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds approx. 5g
Prepare the Yogurt Base: In the small mixing bowl, combine the ¾ cup of low-fat plain Greek yogurt with the ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir until the cinnamon is evenly incorporated.
Assemble Each Parfait (repeat for two servings):
Take one serving glass. Spoon approximately 3 tablespoons (which is ⅛ cup, or a quarter of the total yogurt mixture) of the cinnamon-infused yogurt into the bottom of the glass, spreading it to create an even base.
Gently sprinkle approximately 3 tablespoons (⅛ cup) of the granola over the yogurt layer.
Carefully arrange approximately 3 tablespoons (⅛ cup) of mixed berries on top of the granola.
Repeat the layering process once more: Add another 3 tablespoons of the cinnamon yogurt, followed by 3 tablespoons of granola, and finish with a final 3 tablespoons of mixed berries.
Garnish: Sprinkle ½ teaspoon of chia seeds over the top of each completed parfait.
Serve: For the best texture and enjoyment, serve the parfaits immediately. They can also be covered and chilled in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 hours if prepared in advance.
